When signing up to receive our newsletter, you’re accepting the following terms and conditions.
When you sign up to receive our newsletter, the only information you need to give us is your email address and your occupation. We don’t register or save any other information about you.
Use of your email address
When you’ve signed up to receive our newsletter, we use your email address to send you emails containing product information, inspirational content, case studies, price lists, dos and don’ts and other marketing materials. As a rule, we send out newsletters between eight and 15 times a year.
Your email address will be passed to our newsletter system supplier in order to distribute the newsletter. Currently that supplier is E-marketeer.
Gathering of information
Other information we track and save concerns your use of our newsletters: whether you open them; how long they remain open; when you delete them and which links you click.
We gather this information to improve our service and to enable us to make great content that’s well tailored to its recipients’ interests.
In addition, we use the information for statistical purposes.
Storing of information
Your information is stored and processed confidentially and safely. We, together with our newsletter system supplier Ubivox, have implemented the necessary technical and organisational security precautions to ensure that your information is not abused; that it remains out of the hands of unauthorised persons; and that it remains within the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation.
The information we have registered about you will continue to be stored as long as you’re signed up to receive our newsletter.
You can, at any time, unsubscribe from our newsletters, and will find the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of each newsletter you receive from us. If you unsubscribe, we’ll delete your email address from the list of recipients. When you have unsubscribed, you’ll receive an email with a confirmation saying that we’re deleting your details from our list of recipients, and we’ll then delete all the information we have connected to your email address.
We can, however, have information about you from other sources, and this information will not be affected when unsubscribing from receiving our newsletter. It will be treated according to the consent relevant to it, given at that time.
Correction of information
If you have any corrections to your information, you can unsubscribe at any time and then sign up to receive the newsletter again. You’re also welcome to contact us at marketing[at]howe.com.
You can, at any time, request an insight into what personal data we have stored about you. We will continue to keep your personal data until you withdraw your consent, and you can always do that by unsubscribing from receiving our newsletter, as described above.
We’ll never share your personal data with any third party other than the supplier we use to distribute our newsletters.
