This state-of-the-art facility, completed in 2022, brings together The Center for Advanced Scientific Imaging (CASI), core facilities within the Center for Integrative Biological Research (CIBR), and Active Learning Classrooms (ALC) under one roof. It is a collaborative space for groundbreaking research and immersive learning.
The Science Initiative Building's architects, GSG and Perkins Will, pictured furniture that seamlessly blended into the building's modern aesthetic while also supporting the many requirements of students and teachers. They turned to HOWE for solutions that could tastefully enhance the building's functionality, promoting the lively learning space envisioned.
