Since the early 1920’s, HOWE has developed innovative space-saving and flexible furniture designs. This is underlined by the extreme space-saving requirements of the U.S. Navy submarines during World War II, which HOWE’s legendary Victory table was designed to meet. This focus on space-saving and flexible tables continued to be the backbone of HOWE and years later, in 1974, HOWE followed the same formula and introduced the Tempest table. Tempest became the industry benchmark for high quality, sturdiness and attractive multi-functional flip-top tables. Today, it remains the mainstay of HOWE’s table sales.
