Customised solutions - real partnerships
The ability to develop unique buildings with iconic qualities has become increasingly important in contemporary architecture; developers, consultants and architects are all striving to create unique building environments.
From the point of view of the end-user, the interior decoration is the most tangible part of a building, because it is the aspect with which you are in daily physical contact. In this perspective, the furniture can be seen as the ‘interface' of a building. Interior decoration is therefore an important parameter if you want to create a unique building experience or environment.
As we see it, the desire for customised solutions can spring from several factors. Often it is due to the architect's aesthetic concerns and visions for design. Or a particular demand for increased flexibility, specific functionalities and space-saving features. And, of course, it can also result from tight budgetary constraints.
Whatever the reason, HOWE has always been more than ready to address the challenges faced by architects and other partners. We share their ambitions ... and we go to great lengths to meet their wishes for customised interiors through fundamental design changes, the use of new materials or simply producing a particular chair in a special colour.
Often these out-of-the-ordinary projects lead to our product development department discovering new methods, materials or ways of doing things. Moreover, so-called specially developed solutions frequently end up as standard products in our product programme because it becomes apparent that other building projects have the same needs. In this way, requests for customised production help us to create new and improved solutions.
